Cliff Williamson began his professional career in New Orleans after receiving a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University in 1981. Following positions in retail, banking and health care planning, Cliff changed his career path to his passion - high end residential design and construction - when he began working for noted local interior designer Tom Collum and his firm Collum & Chrestia. It was there that he became involved with the design and project management of some of the largest and most renowned private residences in New York City.

In 1987, while working as architectural project manager on an Upper East Side co op renovation, Cliff met David Cohen. David, who at the time was a project manager for one of New York's prominent builders, would go on to become Founder and CEO of The I. Grace Company one year later in 1988.

Cliff relocated to New York City in 1991 and joined The I. Grace Company, where as a Project Manager he continued working with many of the same clients from the Collum & Chrestia design years while developing new and lasting relationships at the growing firm. While at I-Grace Cliff had the privilege of working with many of the city's leading architects and designers on high profile projects. This varied body of work includes renovating the former penthouse residence of Jackie Onassis on 5th Ave, several renovations at 740 Park Avenue, beachfront estates in the Hamptons and the renovation of the Greenwich Village 19th Century landmark power station into a private residence, recognized by Architectural Record.

After twelve years of working in New York, The I. Grace Company needed Cliff's high end market expertise in Los Angeles, where the firm was continuing to develop their West Coast presence. While in California Cliff had the opportunity to work on several high rise penthouse residences located on the Wilshire Corridor and at The Century Condominium as well as homes in Beverly Hills' coveted Trousdale Estates area, and Mailbu beachfront compounds.

Cliff moved back to New York in 2008 to be closer to family and friends displaced after Hurricane Katrina. Currently based out of I-Grace's corporate offices, he continues to travel extensively working on projects in New York, Los Angeles, Pennsylvania, Miami and the Hamptons. He remains passionate about all aspects of Design and Architecture, including Landscape Architecture, whose design principles taught at LSU formed the basis for everything that followed "inside and out".
