Keith D. Kirkpatrick is the Chief Operating Officer of The I. Grace Company. Keith realized he had a passion for design and architecture at a young age; born to a military father, he traveled extensively throughout his childhood which exposed him to a variety of cultures and architectural styles. Keith's early travels took him from San Angelo, TX to Japan - where he experienced Asian art and design for the first time - followed by several European countries during his teenage years. This geographical and cultural tour was a revelation to Keith and formed the foundation of his design sense and aesthetic.

Keith returned to the United States to attend Kenyon College where he received his Bachelors in Fine Arts. In 1982, Keith moved to New York City and went on to study Environmental Design at Parsons School of Design. While at Parsons, he began working for a noted architectural woodworking and general contracting firm, Marvin Hammerman, Inc. (MHI), as a Draftsperson. Upon graduation, Keith transitioned to a full-time Project Manager role, ultimately becoming the General Manager of MHI. As General Manager, Keith oversaw dozens of large scale, high-end projects throughout New York City and the tri-state area. It was at MHI that Keith first met David J. Cohen, who went on to found The I. Grace Company a few years later. Under Keith's supervision, David began his career as a Laborer, and quickly moved up the ranks to Carpenter and then Project Manager.

In 1996, after 15 years at Marvin Hammerman Inc., Keith joined David at The I. Grace Company as a Project Manager - where he quickly worked his way up through the ranks! - becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2009.

Currently based out of the corporate headquarters in New York City, Keith travels frequently to I-Grace's West Coast office in Los Angeles, and oversees work throughout the country. Responsible for all construction operations, Keith supervises all major projects at I-Grace, and has worked on some of the most exciting and complex residential renovations in the United States. Some of these projects include a sprawling115 acre Pennsylvania Estate, a 45,000 sq. ft. beaux art townhouse in New York City, and a mission revival style residence overlooking the beaches of Emerald Bay.

Keith and his wife Elizabeth live in Connecticut with their two teenage children, Andrew and Caroline.
